Join the crew at Flip Flop Shops Hillsdale Shopping Center, where we help customers Free Their Toes and bring a little sunshine into every interaction. We're looking for a reliable, upbeat Key Holder who can lead by example, keep the shop running smoothly, and deliver a warm, beach inspired customer experience when the owners aren't around. You'll support daily operations, open or close the store, guide the team during your shifts, and keep our space looking clean, inviting, and totally on brand.

Responsibilities

Serve as Supervisor on Duty when leadership is off site. Open or close the store with accuracy and professionalism. Lead and motivate Sales Associates to hit sales goals. Deliver friendly, consultative customer service with strong product knowledge. Maintain visual standards and ensure the store feels clean, bright, and beach ready. Support inventory accuracy. Handle customer issues with calm, solution oriented energy. Follow all cash handling and loss prevention procedures. Requirements 1+ year retail experience (footwear/apparel preferred). Cash handling experience. Strong communication and reliability. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Must be 18+. Preferred: Prior Key Holder or supervisory experience. Familiar with beach lifestyle or casual footwear brands. Bilingual abilities. Perks $19 - $21/hr. Employee discount.
