Flip Flop Shops at Hillsdale Shopping Center is family-owned and locally-operated by Mike, who's from Brisbane in San Francisco, and Margarita, who grew up right here in San Mateo. You'll also get to know our son and our four-legged daughter who are part of the crew and should see them around the shop often. Even though we're locals through and through, our hearts live on the island of Kauai, our second home and the inspiration behind the relaxed, friendly, island-life energy we bring into the store every day. We want our customers to feel that same warmth the moment they walk in.
